At first I thought it was an insect, but with a closer look it i realized it was a dock! Very nice!

That rocks... high contrasts in black and white almost always works, and this is a fine example of when it does. You composed it very well I'd say, with that fragment of a pole to border it on the left and the emphasis of the picture at just about two-thirds from there. Yup. =)
